For licenses bought directly on mousetools.app. The German version at the bottom is the legally binding one.
Sales are not open yet — the product page marks prices and availability as coming soon. These terms apply from the moment checkout opens, and are published now so you know what a purchase will mean.
Viet-Duc Doan, Köhnstraße 51, 90478 Nürnberg, Germany, [email protected] — see the Imprint. These terms cover purchases of Compass & Clipboard licenses made on mousetools.app. Purchases in the Mac App Store are a contract between you and Apple under Apple's terms.
The product page is an invitation, not an offer. You make the offer by completing checkout; the contract is formed when we deliver the download and your license by email. The contract text is not stored after the fact — keep the confirmation email.
The price shown at checkout applies. As a small business under § 19 UStG we charge no VAT. Payment methods are the ones shown at checkout; payment is processed by the payment provider named there, under its own terms.
You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason; an email to [email protected] is enough, and we refund the full price. For digital content this right ends early: if you ask for the download or license key to be delivered immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal by starting the download, the right expires once delivery begins (§ 356 (5) BGB).
What you may do with the app is set out in the End User License Agreement, which is part of every purchase. In short: one license per person, on every Mac that person controls, perpetual for the major version bought.
Your statutory warranty rights apply unchanged. Our liability follows the EULA: unlimited for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health; for slight negligence limited to cardinal duties and typical, foreseeable damage.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in remain unaffected. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
